A little about me:

I’m so committed to the vision I‘ll tattoo myself on an impulse to match the dream on the moodboard.


As a visual artist, writer, prompt engineer, and creative director across content and media, I've had a winding path that's taken me from commissioned portrait painting to serial collage and freelance creative direction. Born to a Hong Kong immigrant father and a midwestern mother who met at IBM in California, I grew up just a mile from MPK21. I've called many places home, including New York, Los Angeles, Australia, Japan, Belgium, and Ohio, before settling back home in San Francisco. 

My creative career has been marked by experimentation and innovation, particularly in integrating GenAI into my creative work, writing for media and culture, and as a creative technologist who never sleeps. I first started experimenting with AI in 2021, as one of the first people to beta test DALL-E for OpenAI in the summer of 2021, when I was doing a fellowship at the Headlands Center for the Arts, which led me to integrating AI across my editorial and creative practice, and eventually working as a prompt engineer myself. 

 I've showcased this fusion in solo and group exhibitions locally, nationally, and globally, and incorporated elements from a fused, wholly integrated creative practice into editorial media and cultural creative campaigns for girlknewyork, A$AP rocky, pornhub, and more.In my spare time, I like forcing computer vision programs to write critically objective sonnets in iambic pentameter in modern language.

With a background in digital media, surface design, journalism, painting, poetry, Spanish, and photography, I‘ve worked everywhere from Fashion Week to Meta. My experience also includes being a backend prompt engineer for Google Cloud, where I built 550 reusable chat prompts: among many things, favorites include building out the foundational groundwork of tonally accurate tarot reading analysis outputs; optimizing cost-per-wear for trends like mob wife winter for optimized the office, specifically relying on metrics like cost and skirt length to optimize purchases off the Real Real as a stylist; and how to plate Thanksgiving and holiday meals for household pets on Gemini. I'm most proud of integrating GenAI art in generally AI-phobic spaces, including museums, the Dutch government's permanent archives, and sold off at art auctions in the places I called home. 

Outside of work, I like world building, speculative writing,and teaching - specifically collage and poetry workshops to humans, and training computer vision programs to write about images in iambic pentameter in the style and rhetoric of brat by Charli XCX .

When people say something isn't possible, I make it happen—and I deliver results that prove it. At Meta, I delivered a fully realized tarot concept in just two working days—something no one else would or could build—blending centuries-old symbolism with cutting-edge generative AI. I’ve crafted Scorpio season visuals that stayed true to their darkest essence wnile still maintaing Internal quality standards, designed sports-franchise-inspired scenes that evoke narrative drama without IP, and brought y2k pop to life with dynamic narratives while avoiding IP constraints.  


A hallmark of my work is integrating texture and character seamlessly across models. Whether it’s ensuring the fabric of a tarot based costume feels tangible, capturing the grit and movement of a sports scene, or embedding subtle narrative cues into visual prompts, I balance aesthetic quality with storytelling depth. I build immersive worlds, from crime scenes with invisible ink clues to universes where text doesn’t exist because the characters refuse to read. All work I make must be Imbued with life.

In my time at Meta, I developed 70 content recipes that went to approval with high success rates, contributing to over 30% team ownership in top evaluation scores for visual content. I integrate texture, character, and narrative into every piece, prompting like a sonnet smith to craft content that is both precise and engaging. The templates I designed have become foundational tools for my team, adopted by peers and used to train new hires. Relentless in my drive to innovate, I consistently set new standards, ensuring Meta’s GenAI tools deliver culturally resonant, trend-driven storytelling that redefines what’s possible while still driving the form and function of art In the future.

At Stargirl’s Dream Studio, I specialize in building custom data sets based on existing visual and written artist ephemera and crafting specific artwork tailored to each artist’s unique vision. By leveraging advanced tools like computer vision software and generative AI platforms such as ASTICA, OpenAI and Stable Diffusion, I extract and curate relevant visual and textual metadata from thousands of museum and gallery archives. This enables the creation of artist-specific models that generate cohesive, museum-quality artwork, seamlessly blending with the artist’s existing body of work.

For example, I’ve designed individualized multimodal agents for over 20 artists, transforming old pieces into revitalized collections with consistent tone and style. These outputs are paired with AI-generated curatorial statements and artist bios, ensuring they are ready for grant submissions, exhibitions, and product launches. This approach has led to measurable success, including a Pollock-Krasner grant, sold-out launches, and acceptances international residencies and the Integration of GenAI artwork In museum collection . By purposefully integrating tailored data and creative vision, I empower artists to expand their practice and bring their ideas to life in groundbreaking ways.
